Responsibilities:

• Use open-source testing tools or frameworks, create Hardware In the Loop (HIL) tests for software, electrical, mechanical components
• Responsible for creating test setups, for aircraft hardware by working closely with the mechanical, electrical, epropulsion systems, and software teams
• Develop formal test procedures, instrumentation guidelines, test fixture designs, and any other necessary tools to allow for repeatable testing
• Perform structural, environmental, and functional tests on specific hardware
• Analyze data collected during tests to generate reports and provide feedback to the engineering teams

Qualifications:

• S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent real-world experience. (Master's degree preferred)
• 1 to 3-years of testing experience, (unmanned air vehicles preferred)
• Test and evaluation experience in an aerospace program, or previous exposure to testing or new product development
• Experience developing Hardware In the Loop tests
• Experience with mechanical design and manufacturing drawing creation CAD
• Proficiency with MS Office, and Solidworks
• Strong analytical background, with excellent problem solving and communication skills
