UiPath's Cloud Robots Team is seeking an accomplished hands-on engineer focused on building capabilities for providing compute needed for running RPA jobs on an as-needed basis, and shipping fast at massive scale.
This includes design and development of both front-end user facing scenarios and back-end web services for compute and resource managements. This is also needed for advanced auto-scaling and scheduling strategies and algorithms, for monitoring and alerting on resource usages and constraints, for interacting with major CSP providers (Azure, AWS, GCP) thru their official programming SDKs, for advanced machine and robot operations and for solving availability/scalability/performance challenges when dealing with millions of machines.

What you'll do at UiPath:
- As a Software Engineer II, you will directly design and engineer significant areas of UiPath's Cloud Robots project, and ensure our technical deliverables meet the expected service level.
- You will work closely with other engineers and product managers to envision and deliver product capabilities.
- You will ensure our software meets all requirements of quality, security, scalability and high performance.
- You will participate in and influence our best practices across the engineering organization.
- Proven track record (4+years' experience) of engineering world-class, large scale commercial applications and web services.
- Experience with micro-services patterns and full-stack development.
- Experience with cloud services at scale on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Proficiency in one or more object-oriented languages (such as C#/C++/Java) backed by solid computer science fundamentals.
- Familiar with modern engineering practices, including agile development, CI/CD and DevOps.
- Ability work with globally distributed teams.
- Experience and knowledge in SQL/NoSQL, Blob Storage, Kubernetes/Docker/VM, Kafaka, Caching, Active Directory, etc on large distributed systems.
- Full-stack development experience is good to have (front-end and back-end)
The anticipated base salary range for this position is between $129,500 and $194,750. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location and relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
