We are seeking talented Engineers with a desire to work aircraft Materials and Processes (M&P). You will help design, build, and sustain the finest military aircraft in the world in our Aeronautics business area in Marietta, Georgia

In this position you will:

• Function as our Sustainment Lead managing the M&PE Sustainment work scope
• Managing sustainment tasks with other functional members of the team to meet customer requirements
• Collaborate with Project Engineering and customers to improve and or increase work scope and content
• Coordinate with CAM to manage sustainment budgets.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Experience with AMMM sustainment LOB
• Experience with C-130 Manuals and Job Guides
• Experience with Aircraft Structures, Coatings, and Sealants
• Project Management experience
• Experience with proposals, statements of work, contracts, and schedules

Desired Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project
• Familiarity with LM Aeronautics Capability Solutions catalog
• Familiarity with Air Force Technical Orders(AFTO) and Engineering Change Proposals (ECP)
• Ability to work in team environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
