What will you be doing as a Staff Frontend Software Engineer at SimSpace?
- Help lead the frontend development for a cloud based platform utilized to build & simulate cybersecurity ranges
- Collaborating with other Engineers, User Experience Designers, and Product Managers to iterate on new features
- Help advance our product by improving the quality of code, process, and culture for both your team and adjacent teams
- Solve technical problems of the highest scope and complexity for your team
- Consistently ship large features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members. Collaborate with the team on larger projects.
- Supporting & mentoring other engineers
- Contributing to the long term technical vision and grooming/breakdown of work
What are the qualifications to apply? To be successful as a Staff Frontend Software Engineer, you need to be:
- Proficient with Typescript
- Proficient in React.js and implementation of performant SPA solutions
- Proficient with API Design
- Proficient with CDN + Edge Networking configuration
- Experience with Production Node.js Services
- Familiarity with Back-end technologies
- Experience working with remote teams
- Low ego engineer with the ability to quickly pick up new technologies

Nice to have but not required:
- 8+ years of hands on software development experience
- Familiarity with Cybersecurity or Networking
- Familiarity with Kubernetes
- Familiarity with functional languages such as Haskell
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Our Full Tech Stack:
React.js, Node.js (Nest), Cypress, Typescript, Kotlin, Haskell, Ruby, Python, Postgres, GCP
We provide the following:
- Salary Range $170,000-$240,000
