Northrop Grumman is seeking an Aerospace Engineer. This position will be located at our Aeronautics Systems Sector in El Segundo, CA or Redondo Beach, CA. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Vehicle Engineering directorate.
Essential Functions:
The selected candidate will:
Design, develop, and test a variety of power plants, aircraft, missiles, and parts, taking into consideration the most efficient use of the natural laws affecting flight.
Establish structural specifications, perform stress analysis, and conduct performance tests.
This requisition may be filled at either an Associate Aerospace Engineer level (T01) or an Aerospace Engineer level (T02).
Basic Qualifications for an Associate Aerospace Engineer (T01):
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Clearance and Program Access Required for Start as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Be completing or has completed their Master’s degree from an accredited institution or is completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 2 years of aerospace engineering experience.
Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Preferred Qualifications for both an Associate Aerospace Engineer (T01) & Aerospace Engineer (T02):
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher
Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular).
Pay Range:
Associate Aerospace Engineer (T01): $ 70,200 - $105,400
Aerospace Engineer (T02): $85,000 - $127,400
