KVC Health Systems is looking for an Application Developer to create, deploy, and maintain internally developed applications. We pride ourselves on continuing to refresh our skills, tools, and methodologies to consistently deliver valuable resources for staff helping vulnerable children and families.

The Application Developer will:

• be able to design, develop, and test software solutions to meet business requirements and add value to business goals
• be experienced with web application technologies—including React, MS-SQL, Mongo DB, and NodeJS
• participate in planning the software solutions as part of an Agile/Scrum development team
• work closely with other application developers to efficiently build, maintain and deliver a high-quality product to users
• contribute to the ongoing performance improvements of applications through operational maintenance and defect resolution
• communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders
• make decisions and solve problems with the support of leadership
• keep up with new trends in the software development industry

Qualifications:

• Certificate from a college or technical school or equivalent training
• Ability to learn new skills quickly
• Experience with web-based development including design, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Experience with SQL Server
• Experience with React is required
• Knowledge of NodeJS is preferred
• Qualified applicants must be at least 21 years of age or older, have a valid driver's license and car insurance.
