• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems

• Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others

• Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems

• Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture

• Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies

• Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model. Writing modular , reusable and extendable CSS3 and familiarity with BEM naming approach.

• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles. Experience with popular React.js state management workflows (such as Flux, Redux or Context API), React Hooks and developing custom hooks. Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript (ES 6+)

• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token. Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus, familiarity with server side rendering will be plus.

• Experience with common front-end development tools such as ESLint , Chrome or Firefox Developer plugin

• Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle

• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and REACT Native is a plus

• Familiarity with integrating with Websocket and ServerSend events based api's is a plus

• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools Webpack 4 + and familiarity with code splitting will be plus
