What you will do:
YORK® Airside Technical Services (ATS) from Johnson Controls, helps clients respond to their building efficiency needs by supporting their industrial and commercial airside units (AHU) at various locations across the globe.
We would like you to provide technical support to the Field Sales & Service organization for Custom and Semi-Custom AHUs in a consistent manner across all product offerings.

How you will do it:
- Provide day-to-day technical support for BE products to Field Sales & Service organization on a global basis via site visit, phone, or email
- Accountable to build and maintain technical service bulletins, service letters, and updates to the Solutions Database that meets and or exceeds internal and external customer expectations.
- Accountable for timely and high-quality product service literature
- Processes warranty claims in a timely and consistent manner to facilitate data mining by; product, failed component, defect, and responsibility
- Drive product reliability through the Continuous Improvement Process for both existing products and new products being introduced. Product Technical Support Specialist provides technical support and interacts with quality management and engineering to improve overall life cycle cost. The specialist should be able to build test plans to prove out new and or existing product equipment offerings.
- Must be proficient in troubleshooting HVAC systems like airflow, electrical and mechanical
- Crafts novel solutions with measurable value for existing and potential customers; experiments with new ways to tackle work problems and seize opportunities that result in outstanding and differentiated solutions; promotes the involvement co-workers in solving problems that directly impact what people do; leveraging technology to optimally address problems and capitalize on opportunities
- Places a high priority on the internal or external customer’s perspective when making decisions and acting; implementing service practices that meet the customers’ and own organization’s needs
- Is a core member of the Product Development Process
- Adheres to the Company's Code of Conduct and Business Ethics Standards
- To develop and maintain " a customer for life" we may provide technical support to on-site audits of BE plants, suppliers, and customer sites if required
- Must adhere to all safety and personal protection requirements
What we look for:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related Technical/Scientific field required and a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience OR fourteen (14) years of technical experience with a knowledge of HVAC&R products
- Analyze and solve sophisticated product system problems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) as well as Internet software and E-mail.
