Job Description
The Quality Engineer has the responsibility and authority for supporting core business processes through the identification and development of our quality processes as well as customer and supplier interactions. This function will lead quality based projects that lead to manufacturing process improvements.

You Will

Manage assigned customer portfolios

Communicate customer requirements and ensure proper implementation in the production cell
-
Ensure that quality standards and customer expectations are met consistently
-
Create job aides and work instructions for all products in portfolio

Partner with production group and process engineer to develop and monitor processes
-
Manage and review all procedures and create work instructions to help drive continuous improvement
-
Coordinate customer contacts, serve as resource to resolve any internal and external customer issues
-
Coordinate supplier contacts and serve as facility voice to suppliers for all quality issues
-
Work with conversion to ensure quality goals are met to reduce rework, scrap, and on time delivery of products to customers.

Maintain ISO standards

Report food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action

Initiate action for food safety issues
You Have
-
Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field
-
Must possess solid communication and facilitation skills.
-
Must have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
-
Must be team-oriented and self-motivated.

Computer literate
