Job Description
Provide the technical expertise to drive CRM solutions aligned with Thermo Fisher Scientific’s strategic objectives.
Involved in all aspects of the SFDC Instance, from addressing urgent issues to realizing enhancements and large-scale projects using in-depth technical knowledge to deliver scalable solutions within agreed SLA’s.
Review requirements and provide guidance to business partners.
Advise on projects and enhancements within Salesforce Instance, and work with owners on estimates, manage timelines, tasks, and milestones.
Partner with other internal teams (such as PMO/QA) toward completion.
Partner with ETO consultants on best practices.
Provide accurate solutions and recommendations to the user community regarding urgent requests, enterprise-wide, and mid-level projects.
Responsible for maintaining the functional areas of data integrity and object management, troubleshooting daily requests and system issues, and training colleagues end users globally on all process.

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus six years of SFDC experience or related experience. Employer will also accept Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 8 years of SFDC experience or related experience.

Must have experience or knowledge of:

Databases and customer relationship management tools such as Salesforce.com, SAP CRM, Excel, SQL, SOQL, Veeva, ServiceMax, Pardot, ServiceNow, or Eloqua;
Sales principles and/or experience dealing with a remote salesforce;
Visualforce, Apex, Java, HTML, XML, SQL, CDD, and REST-based web services;
Evaluating the full breadth of available Salesforce and complementary technologies;
Design and development of solutions on the Salesforce.com platform, using Apex programming language;
Building out Salesforce platform to ensure productivity and enhance customer experience;
Full lifecycle implementation;
Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Community Cloud;
Lightning;
Supporting the maintenance of the CRM structure in Salesforce.com;
New product features as they are launched with SFDC new product releases;
Maintaining system metrics to track trends in usage and date integrity;
Delivering rapid resolutions to business challenges and technical issues;
Identifying and implementing application solutions, enhancements, and system integrations; and
Coaching and mentoring more junior developers.
