What You’ll Get to Do:

As a motivated software developer on this growing program comprised of multiple agile development teams, you will support our truly involved customers through modernization of mission management applications. We’ll look to you to design, develop, and maintain microservices and a UI for a data-rich application with complex user workflows. As a part of the development process, you will write automated tests, deploy to a fully automated DevOps pipeline, and influence the current architecture and future technical direction of the project. Each day, you can expect to report a brief status at an agile “stand up” meeting, dig into the highest priority work to accomplish that day, code with your teammates, and participate in TEMs as needed.

Technologies you will use may include:

  • Frontend frameworks like Vue and Bootstrap

  • Spring Framework

  • Automated testing tools like Mockito, JUnit, Selenium, Jest, etc

  • Databases like MySQL, Redis, etc

  • SCM and issue tracking tools like Git, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, etc

  • DevSecOps pipeline tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, etc

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Clearance: Must have TS/SCI with CI poly (or be willing to take CI poly)

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in STEM field or related experience

  • Experience: 5 or more years of experience in software development

  • Available to work in-person at CACI facilities in Sterling, VA or Aurora, CO

  • Proficiency with web platform technologies and the latest web standards

  • Experience with either Web/Front End or Full Stack

  • Demonstrated experience working with others in a team environment

  • Willingness to learn new skills and technologies

  • Development on Linux OS and using Amazon Web Services

  • Java development skills

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps processes

  • Experience with automated testing tools

  • Experience using tools for Test Driven Development (TDD)

  • Experience with database systems such as MySQL, Redis, etc

  • Experience with Git / GitLab source code management tools

  • Experience with Platform as a Service (VMWare Tanzu) and/or container management (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Current Security+ certification

Pay Range: The proposed salary range for this position is $71,300-$146,200. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
