Job Description
CNO Financial Group’s IT business unit is hiring a Sr. IT Voice Engineer to serve as the senior technology guide within their assigned technology family. This position will own the implementation of complex IT solutions and technologies for the company and lead initiatives that perform build and deployment operations. The Sr. IT Voice Engineer role drives execution efficiency and optimization within the build team, communicates IT concepts to technical and non-technical team members as it relates to the various technologies and programs they supervise and partner with Architects, Program Leadership and Business Stakeholders to ensure understanding, alignment and overall success of all operations.

As a Sr. IT Voice Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Provide technical expertise in projects.
- Analyze provided architecture designs and develop implement solutions.
- Provides technology expertise and consulting to internal IT, business system owners, and other partners.
- Works closely with operational IT teams to collaborate on product and solution life cycle management ensuring system capacity, integrity, availability, and supportability.
- Align solutions to support overall strategy within the IT framework across a broad stack of technologies.
- Ensures new and existing IT solutions conform to information policies, standards, and best practices.
- In conjunction with IT Architects, conduct research on new technologies in support of enterprise operations.
- Applies monitoring and hardware tools to identify and diagnoses problems affecting system performance and availability.
- Develop and present new technology training to our operational support teams.
- Participate in and provide leadership for IT crisis situations.
The Sr. IT Voice Engineer position is well-suited for you if you have:
- Solid understanding in assigned technology domain
- Strong capability in leading technical solution implementations
- Good background in systems administration
- Understanding of broad IT concepts, practices, and procedures
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in technology related field, or 8 years of relevant experience
- 5 years of related IT work experience
- Applicable IT certifications
What will set you apart:
- Prior experience working in Insurance, Financial Services or regulated environment
This role is full time work from home (WFH), also known as Remote. This role can be performed from any US based location within the central or eastern time zone. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
Associates who live within a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Philadelphia, Orlando and Milwaukee) have access to come into that Office up to 2 days/week, and are encouraged to come into the office at least twice per month.
