What You'll Do

This position is based at the Integration Center at Tulsa, primarily responsible for New Product introduction for Class 2 gaming machines and refurbished product introduction for all of Aristocrat’s land-based gaming portfolio. Manufacturing Engineering NPI deals with design-for-producibility considerations, product transition from the design phase to full Production Release, and product transition from teardown to stock release, including supporting quality requirements, change management process, and managing manufacturing bill of materials.

Job Requirements

  • Using Engineering principles and knowledge to resolve manufacturing challenges.

  • Execute day-to-day tasks under the direction and supervisor of the Engineering Supervisor or lead.

  • Interacts with other depart peers to collaborate on projects. Liaise directly with multiple internal departments during issues and problem-solving.

  • Directs semi-skilled employees to execute hands-on implementation of tasks related to NPI.

  • Liaise directly with multiple internal departments during issues and problem-solving.

  • Prepare work instructions and technical training content for production front-line staff

  • Participate in the mechanical design of tools and equipment to aid in manufacturing activities.

  • Observing health and safety regulations as needed in manufacturing processes and methods.

  • Participating in meetings and attending workshops and other training initiatives.

  • Taking notes and sharing your findings with the supervisor and other relevant stakeholders.

  • Prepare manufacturing bills of materials related to NPI and teardown/bench repair process.

  • Hands-on contributor to engineering change management process.

  • May require to work weekends as directed by Supervisor.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Production, and Industrial)

  • 2-5 years of NPI experience including ECO, BOMs, and manufacturing work instructions.

  • Proficient in Solidworks. Experience with Teamcenter preferred.

  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics or any other ERP system preferred.

  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • A growth mindset and willingness to accept criticism.
