The UiPath.com team is looking for an accomplished, hands-on senior manager, web development, to assist in managing, driving and executing on an active Drupal, Contentful, MongoDB, NodeJS, SQL/NoSQL and React project.
As the Senior manager, web development, you will have a direct impact on a large-scale, high-impact website that is visited by millions of people a month and is directly contributing to lead generation and the company bottom line. Our website is distributed globally through CDNs and is directly connected to a large scale API first headless CMS. Prior experience on managing development teams and developing large scale websites at scale is highly preferred along with a passion for building the best web experiences with an eye to pixel perfect design.
What you'll do at UiPath:

- Leads a team of web developers and QA resources focused on the UiPath.com web experience
- Works with both functional and technical project team members to deliver the website experience in an agile manner
- Develop project management deliverables (detailed project schedule, budget, etc.) and processes (risk, quality, and scope management)
- Understands project requirements from both a business and a technical standpoint and serves as the liaison between business users and the web development team.
- Build a scalable, robust, and reusable UI platform to power a content rich web experience and ensure website deliverables meet expected service levels.
- Manage project teams, which include QA, Dev, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with creative teams, UX designer and web project managers to develop and deliver a compelling web experience
- Work closely with other developers, engineers and partner cross-functionally with product and design to envision and deliver new website capabilities.
- Ensure that software meets a high bar of quality, security, scalability and high performance.
- Participate in and influence best practices across the marketing and engineering organizations.
- Ability to be hands-on when needed
- Comfortable in fast paced environment with passion to build new capabilities and experiences
- Implement unit and integration tests and conduct functional and performance testing where appropriate.
- Improve performance of existing software by diagnosing and resolving critical issues.
- Prepare technical documentation, including software design evaluation plans, test results, and technical manuals.
- Adhere to established development practices and processes.
- 7+ years of development experience focused on driving digital web applications using java and open-sourced technologies
- 5+ years experience in managing high performing development teams
- Experience with building heavily trafficked websites at scale.
- Experience with Typescript/Javascript or another modern programming language, backed by solid computer science fundamentals.
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages
- Experience in developing web solutions in headless CMS solutions like Contentful
- Through understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g., Requirements, Design, Development, Testing) and exposure to Agile or iterative SDLCs.
- Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux.
- Experience working directly with technology vendors
- Familiarity with modern engineering practices, including agile development and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of performance testing frameworks.
- Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
- An ability to work collaboratively with globally distributed teams, but also the ability to work with the agility and speed of a startup, with a time zone basis in New York City
- Experience with GatsbyJS and or Contentful for bonus points.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is between $135,000 and $202,500. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location and relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
