Department Overview The Cloud Infrastructure Engineering team is responsible for the development and operations of critical cloud infrastructure and platform services, in support of Motorola Solutions public and hybrid cloudbased Software as a Service SaaS solutions for public safety customers. This team is part of Motorola Solutions Software Enterprise division, which offers secure, reliable and efficient team communications, workflow and operational intelligence solutions for mission critical public safety and enterprise markets throughout the world. Our services leverage Cloud Computing infrastructure on Azure and AWS to build at scale.
Job Description
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineering team is responsible for
Design and implementation of continuous integrationcontinuous delivery CICD pipelines into multiple public cloud regions.
Development and operation of common platform services that can be leveraged by our SaaS solutions.
Overall reliability and security of these services and the environments in which they run.
Monitoring and support for these platform and infrastructure services, as well as metrics collection and related reporting.
As a software engineer intern on this team, you will be working on a highvelocity, resultsoriented team that leverages cuttingedge technologies and techniques. The right individual will be motivated and will have a passion for automation, deployment processes and enabling innovation. Your efforts will help to shape the engineering culture and best practices across Motorola Solutions Software Enterprise organization.
Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor39;s, Master39;s, or Doctoral degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field with a graduation date on or after Dec 2023
Fundamental knowledge of programming and algorithms
Good coding skills
Fundamental knowledge of cloud based technologies

This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice39;s 34;Criminal Justice Information Services CJIS Security Policy34; and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers.

Pursuing a Bachelor39;s, Master39;s, or Doctoral degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field with a graduation date on or AFTER Dec 2023.
Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customers.
