Job Description
Finchloom, a remote first Microsoft focused, direct Cloud Services Provider (CSP) and reseller of Microsoft 365 and Azure Subscriptions and services, has an immediate need for an Entry Level Help Desk Technician. This is a 2 month project that would be a great way for somebody to enter into the IT field.
What You'll Do:
- Respond to requests for technical assistance via phone, chat or email
- Log all help desk interactions
- Follow standard help desk procedures
- Redirect problems to correct team/s
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
- Follow-up with customers, as needed
Skills You'll Bring:
- An IT degree, IT boot camp certification and/or 1 + years of help desk experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Willingness to learn new things
- A can do attitude
The pay for this role is $25 an hour on a W-2 and $30 an hour on a 1099 or Corp to Corp.
This is truly an entry level role and would give somebody entry level experience in help desk, service desk and systems roles. The role is initially slated to last only 2 months and the shifts available are 12 AM PT/3 AM ET – 8 AM PT/11 AM ET Monday through Friday or weekend shifts 12 AM PT/3 AM ET – 8 AM PT/11 AM ET, 8AM / 11 AM ET - 4PM PT / 7 PM ET, or 4 PM PMPT / 7 PM ET – 12 AM PT / 3 AM ET.
