This position will be part of the Lockheed Martin Sustainment Services, supporting the F-35 Field Modification Team at various locations. First assignment will be at Cheongju, South Korea with an estimated return to stateside early 2026. Traveling may be required ~30-50% depending on business requirements.

• Cheongju, South Korea is an unaccompanied assignment.

This position requires the following:

• Services, repairs, and overhauls F-35 aircraft electrical systems to ensure airworthiness. Repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft electrical systems. Incorporate engineering changes. Replaces and repairs worn or damaged components. Adjusts, repairs, and replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories.

• Work typically requires a detailed understanding of the interrelationships of circuits. Perform such tasks as making circuit analysis and tracing relationships in signal flow. Use complex test instruments such as high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and complex computer control equipment. Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices, may provide technical guidance.

• Participates in the maintenance and logistics scheduling and execution. Develops solutions to complex problems concerning support to assigned site. This requisition supports the aircraft modification and heavy maintenance program supporting F-35 program requirements.

• Selected candidate will have experience with understanding technical requirements on fighter type aircraft. Candidate must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, structure repair manuals, understanding symbols, flags, and general notes - Identify aircraft locations by station, butt-line, and waterline as shown on engineering documentation and technical orders.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist.

• Must have updated & current passport for international travel.

• Must be a US Citizen. Must possess a Final Secret Security Clearance prior to starting. This position is located a facility that requires special access

Basic Qualifications:

• 4 years Fighter aircraft Avionic/Electrical Knowledge.

• Must have been previously awarded a 5 or 7 Skill level USAF AFSC, Navy NEC, or Marine MOS discipline rating or an equivalent Airframe and Power Plant, FAA certificate.

Desired Skills:

• Working level of knowledge on Maintenance Information Systems such as Electronic Maintenance Instructions, Aircraft Forms Documentation, and Supply Chain Management and Process Specifications.

• Low Observable (LO) Coatings Application experience.

• Experience with Tool Control, FOD, Supply, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, and Security programs.

• F-35 Modification data base system, (ALIS). Autonomics Logistics Information System.
