Job Description
You provides technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging systems. You respond to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. You report design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering. You may also be involved in customer installation and training. You will report to the Supervisor, Remote Support and have a hybrid schedule working in Milwaukee, WI.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging systems
- Offer technical support for Rockwell Automation Control Products such as Circuit Breakers, Circuit Protection, Motor Starters, and other core Rockwell Products
- Respond to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software
- Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology field or Technical Degree
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- 2+ years experience working with Rockwell Automation Control Products such as CircuitBreakers, Circuit Protection, Motor Starters, Low Voltage Motor Control Centers, Safety and Sensor Products.
- Knowledge of EtherNET communication devices and process would be desired but will train
- Providing support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature
- Partnering with sales, project teams, customers & internal stakeholders
- Available to work between 7AM to 6PM US CST with occassional evenings and weekend support
