Your Role and Responsibilities
Senior C/C++ developer with the following responsibilities:

• Design and developing Linux drivers. Kernel level development.
• Debugging on Linux, Solaris, AIX platforms.
• Work with stakeholders to derive requirements for new features and deliver demonstrations, produce input for technical documentation.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Strong programming skills in C/C++ and a high degree of familiarity with Linux, source control, and the gcc build tool chain. Since our product supports a variety of UNIX platforms, familiarity with POSIX programming is a plus, especially use of pthreads and POSIX shared memory. The ideal candidate will have strong debugging skills including live debugging with gdb. Our product includes a kernel component, so experience with kernel internals for Linux, Solaris, and AIX is a plus as well as experience with kernel crash debugging.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Modern development skills, particularly development experience with ansible operators, containerized product architecture and OpenSSL internals.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
