About the role
You will have the opportunity to be part of a collaborative team that supports our top Contact Center priorities. You will partner with others within a scrum team on all aspects of solution delivery. We are looking for developers who are passionate about delivering high quality software solutions and have a background in testing frameworks, modern JavaScript languages and native cloud development.
What you will do
- Create a test automation framework and drive efforts for test automation improvements.
- Collaborate with the team on manual testing and test case creation including edge scenarios.
- Design, build, and document reliable test and debug tools for yourself and other developers.
- Collaborate with developers to understand where test automation fits into the code under development.
- Identify and fix gaps within the testing suite with a goal towards an overall high percentage of automation.
- Support a shared responsibility model for maintaining automated tests.
- Support functional, performance, load, and end-to-end testing.
- Enable user analytics, logging, monitoring, and instrumentation for all services.
- Take part in agile events to refine, estimate and deliver application features.
- Collaborate with various team members on feature design, development, and testing.
- Participate and provide constructive feedback in design and code reviews.
- Build highly scalable APIs that are being continuously deployed and updated through an automated CI/CD pipeline.
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs.
- Maintain the security and integrity of the application software.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.

Salary Range: $97,400 - $162,400 plus eligibility for the company annual bonus program target of 10%.
Your experience and skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation
- Experience building a test automation framework and creating test cases
- A successful track record of working within a team to launch enterprise products
- Comfortable with multiple automation testing categories including unit, API, end-to-end, regression, smoke, and performance
- Skilled in a major test automation tool such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- Experience with testing tools such as Postman
- Excellent design, problem solving and debugging skills
- Experience in one or more of JavaScript, Typescript, or Node.js
- Experience with API development
- Familiarity with DevOps practices
- Hands on experience in building scalable systems using containers/serverless in one or more of the cloud providers – AWS, Azure, GCP
- Experience with CI/CD deployments, such as Azure DevOps
- Effective use of collaborative and productivity platforms such as Microsoft Teams
- Proactive with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with technical and non-technical peers
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills
- Experience in agile methodologies
Preferred Credentials:
- Experience in Node.js and Typescript
- Experience developing modern serverless solutions on AWS
- Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines
- Experience with new solution design and architecture
