Job Description
The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Principal, Information Security in Woodland Park, NJ, to consult and offer professional support for major components of the company's information security infrastructure. Contribute to the development and implementation of security architecture, standards, procedures, and guidelines for multiple platforms in diverse system environments. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, and ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation. Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience must include: Designing and developing secure banking applications in Java EE (Enterprise Edition) Platform, Shell scripting, VBA, XML, HTML; Designing database schema and data modeling for large data; Writing complex Oracle SQL queries, stored procedures, SQL jobs, process and fetch meaningful data using ETL (Extract Transform Load) process for data analytics and visualization using BI tools; Performing Incident Management and application support and maintenance; Handling and remediating application and infrastructure vulnerabilities identified during scanning; Utilizing tools including TOAD, SQL Developer, SQL Server Management Studio, Eclipse, Source code management systems (GIT), SSL/TLS Certificates, Generating Certificate Signing Requests (CSR), SharePoint, Change Management, Problem Management, MS Office; Working with Technology auditors to ensure productive outcome of the security assessments and audit findings; and implementing the fixes in line with Infosec policies and tracking it to closure.
