The Grain Digital Service Product Manager (PM) is a key strategic function to define, drive the development, and manage the full lifecycle of innovative, high value, Digital Services for

Grain across all core products and brands (GSI, Cimbria) in line with our customers (farmers) needs. Highly skilled at analyzing the market, the PM brings a proven ability to strategize the full lifecycle of service development — from conception through release.


To be successful, the Digital Service Product Manager must understand the customer pain points and opportunities through customer interactions and a competitive market watch and have a strong desire to address them through simple yet efficient solutions.


This position has full global responsibility and accountability to develop all short/long-term Digital Services roadmaps for AGCO's grain products and equipment lines.


The PM, part of the Product Development Organization, works closely with End Customers (Farmers), Dealers, Sales (Regions), Strategic Marketing, Finance, and Manufacturing to develop, manage, and execute the digital services roadmaps for Grain & Protein. This involves close collaboration with some partner customers for quick new product development feedback, and with the solution architect to define and refine Platforms which will help optimize product development. The Digital Service Product Manager leads Platform and Product Owners in a full matrix cross-functional Agile organization.


What You Will Do

  • Develop and manage Digital Services global roadmaps that solve customer problems and maximize our ROI
    • Conduct & document ongoing VOC to develop pain point matrix to understand key areas to assist customers in driving value
    • Bring well defined New Product Development proposals to the product committee
    • Build and follow up business cases
    • Develop clear service offerings and associated feature specifications


  • Manage and support the Agile teams for delivery of the defined roadmap
    • Lead Product Owners and agile team strategies
    • Manage Digital Service Product Development budgets and collaborate with all functions to have proper resources assigned to approved and budgeted projects
    • Ensure proper product launch by leading different teams to set up marketing material, product documentation, customer events and proper aftersales servicing.


  • Manage the product line profitability and full life cycle until obsolescence
    • Monitor product performance (Margin, Volume, Quality) though lifecycle
    • Plan and manage obsolescence


  • Develop strategic pricing and go to market strategies
    • Provide necessary support and input for regional sales and marketing strategies and tools


  • Perform competitive analysis (pricing, features)


What You Will Bring

  • 10+ years of post-collegiate professional work experience in a business setting
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, including some experience on digital services deployment


A Plus If You Have

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results through influence rather than control (project leadership/strategic direction)
  • Familiarity with margin management, general understanding of financial reports and profitability reporting with variance
  • Prior experience working across multiple company functions, multi locations/cultures in a global setting
  • New Product Introduction team experience
  • Sales, marketing, or engineering experience in a manufacturing and/or agriculture related field.
