If so, nice to meet you! Mitsubishi Chemical Group is seeking a R&D Maintenance Engineer to join a team committed to excellence, continuous improvement and driving sustainable business results. As part of our team, you will be responsible for the coordination of all repairs, modifications, and preventive maintenance activities for the R&D Pilot Line, Building and Labs, Site Packing, Warehouse and Coating areas. Also coordinates significant downtime events, process upgrades, capital plan scope definition and safety improvements. Come be a part of this dynamic team!!

- Ensure reliability and provide maintenance and troubleshooting support for their areas.
- Support upgrades, capital plan scope definition and safety improvements.
- Plan and coordinate downtime needed for maintenance and upgrades.
- Analyze equipment breakdowns and premature failures for root cause and failure trends.
- Implement equipment improvements to address safety, quality, and productivity concerns.
- Gatekeeper for maintenance workorders.
- Monitor and control maintenance spending against budget.
- Key contact for Engineering, Construction, and Maintenance groups.
- On-call availability to support production needs in a 24/7 operation
- B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in field.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- High initiative and results oriented.
- Willingness to provide off hours support as needed.
- Good analytical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in team-based environment.
- Efficient at data analysis and statistical approach to problem solving.

The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $100,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
