We are currently recruiting for a Senior Regulatory Engineer. This position plays a key role in EMEA regulatory compliance maintenance of all legacy products as well as global compliance of new market entries, engaging with key contacts outside your own area of expertise as well as globally. This position will require that you are well versed in current and ongoing changes in international regulations of ITE, while being proficient in guiding teams to comply with regulatory requirements that impact design and business practices ensuring swift and compliant product market penetration.
What you will do in the position:
- Research & Plan
- Research and define country's regulatory requirements according to product specification
- Develop and execute pre-compliance test plan
- Collaborate with engineering team for EMC/EMI/Safety risk mitigation during design phase
- Identify and implement regulatory label requirements and user guide compliance statement requirements
- Plan test mode/configuration, set up samples and support compliance testing
- Execute & Deliver
- Liaise with third-party test labs, certification bodies, suppliers, importers, regulatory authorities to attain global approvals
- Prepare and submit application packages to regulatory authorities
- Troubleshoot compliance issues and perform root cause analysis
- Drive on-time global certifications among cross-functional teams
- Communicate compliance project status to stakeholders in a clear and succinct manner
- Sustain
- Maintain internal regulatory database with proper documentation filing and status update
- Attain certification renewals in a timely manner
- Stay abreast of standard updates and advise relevant stakeholders of regulatory impact
- Sustain product conformity throughout its life cycle and obtain necessary verification test data due to component/supplier/standard change
- Performs all other job responsibilities as assigned.
What you will need to succeed in this position:
- Regulatory compliance experience for ITE products focusing on EMC, Radio and Safety
- Regulatory compliance experience with FCC Part15B/C, EN55022/24, EN55032/35, EN301489, EN300328, UL60950, etc
- Familiarity with obtaining FCC, IC, CE, KCC, NCC, RCM, CB and other international approvals for electronic products
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Good project management skills
- Team player mentality with a positive outlook
- Excellent research skills
- Ability to react quickly and adapt to changes in priorities, exercise judgment, and meet schedules with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail
- Experience - Minimum of 3 years related experience required. 6 years preferred.
- Education - Bachelor's Degree required. Masters Preferred
- Travel - 10% Travel
Pay Range: $92,950.00 - $143,000.00 This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors.
