Leidos is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to work in our Arvada, CO office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping Davis Manufacturing meet our customer’s mission. Reviews shipping schedule and communicates to the factory managers the jobs and work orders that need to be shipped. Works with shipping supervisor to ensure that parts are shipped on time.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes where required.
• Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods and process sequences by utilizing knowledge of product design, material, special processes, fabrication processes, assembly methods, industry standards and process standards. Participates in contract review, develops routers and travelers.
• Participates in root cause investigation and corrective action development.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree with two (2) years Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• Understands inspection methods, tolerances, GD&T.
• Understands customer and industry specifications and requirements.
• Must be a US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 months of using ERP (business software) similar to Costpoint
• Minimum 2 years of machining experience
• Minimum 2 years of aerospace experience
• Knowledge and understanding of AS9100 requirements

Pay Range:

Pay Range $54,600.00 - $84,000.00 - $113,400.00
