Overview:
Philip Morris USA is planning to hire a number of entry level Processing Technicians to support production operations at Park 500. Entry level Processing Technicians are primarily responsible for handling and moving materials, cleaning, and supporting the production operations. These tasks are performed in areas that are not climate controlled.

Philip Morris USA is planning to hire a number of entry level Processing Technicians to support production operations at Park 500. Entry level Processing Technicians are primarily responsible for handling and moving materials, cleaning, and supporting the production operations. These tasks are performed in areas that are not climate controlled.
Your job duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Understanding and following safety rules and practices to ensure the safety of self and others
- Completing tasks that require manual work and some level of physical effort such as:
- Lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds
- Pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, bending, stooping, crawling, or walking
- Standing or walking most of your shift
- Operating a lift truck (forks, barrel, and box clamps) in an industrial environment - Required
- Learn how to operate machines needed to perform Process Technician Tasks
- Cleaning the work area, machines, equipment, or tools
- Reviewing and following written instructions, work procedures and safety procedures to achieve requirements
- Monitoring and inspecting equipment, materials, or products
- Documenting your activities on shift related to Safety, Environmental and Quality responsibilities
- Reviewing, interpreting, or entering data on paper and computers
- Working effectively with team members and others to identify/resolve process or equipment problems
- Listening to others, asking questions and explaining/sharing information

Required Qualifications are:
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States and for Philip Morris USA
- Available to work any shift, and must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays
- Able to work overtime as required up to and including 12-16 hour days
- Able to work in hot or cold conditions and in dusty or dirty work environments. Most of the working conditions are not climate controlled
- Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
Compensation:
The starting wage for this position is $24.59 per hour and additional compensation may be available through our manufacturing incentive program. Wages increase over 48 months. You will be eligible for a shift differential payment of $0.40 per hour for working B-shift and $0.48 per hour working C-shift.
