Job Description
The VP, Enterprise Architecture is responsible for designing, developing, implementing and continuously improving strategies for large cross-functional, multi-threaded programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage subordinate team members and direct IT activities with overall responsibility for the successful operation of assigned areas through lower management levels where the scope and complexity of responsibilities require the integration of multiple disciplines and departments
  • Develop ROI with a global scope based business cases by partnering with business stakeholders, developing and implementing strategies for large cross-functional, multi-threaded programs which have several projects within the program. Develop and continuously provide annual updates to strategic plans and multi-year roadmaps in support of AOP. Advocate solution analysis, business requirements, cost benefit analysis, risk assessment and business impact analysis. Assess new technologies and methods to enhance team's ability to execute and meet customer needs
  • Set overall IT strategy including efforts to reengineer and optimize business processes and systems by assessing business needs and developing, proposing and implementing technology solution options
  • Plan and direct multiple strategic project portfolios activities with highest criticality including prioritizing and selecting appropriate projects. Lead in identifying risk, developing complex mitigation strategies, alternative solutions, critical path, resolving issues, etc. in collaboration with project managers
  • Manage defined set of business applications or technologies to ensure performance according to business needs and IT standards
  • Negotiate with and manages the performance of hosted and SaaS vendors. Ensures all activity is delivered in compliance with normal policies, procedures, technology standards, security requirements, etc.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree 19 years experience Working experience Required or
Master's Degree or equivalent 16 years experience Working experience Required

  • Demonstrated ability to direct IT teams and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relations
  • Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of IT to the business
  • Serves as core IT partner to senior leaders in Business Units, Functional Groups, Regions and IT.

  • Accountable for the performance and results of: (a) a large, strategically important discipline in an extremely large market; or (b) a related disciplines or a medium-sized function in a large market or medium-sized division; or; (c) a medium-sized discipline or department in a major region
  • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For California, the base pay range for this position is $203,000 to $287,000(highly experienced).

The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
