HVAC Project Manager

Job Description
Del-Air is looking to hire Project Managers for the HVAC residential service & replacement division. This role will primarily be responsible for ensuring equipment and materials are being pulled and staged for installs and coordinating with the install field supervisors for scheduling.
Specific Duties & Tasks:
- Review project estimates, vendor quotes, project specifications, and contract drawings to procure equipment, materials, and select installation crews.
- Review contracts with clients, project schedule, and develop agreements.
- Work closely with clients, office staff, and field supervisors to develop strategy for successful project execution.
- Review vendor submittals for compliance with contract documents.
- Process submittals, RFI's, pay applications, change orders, and close out documents.
- Attend regular on-site jobsite meetings for the coordination and development of scope of work.
- Identify and schedule manpower in coordination with field supervisors and project coordinators.
- Monitor project costs, purchase orders, and cost to complete projections.
- Assure project schedule and budgets are being maintained throughout the course of the project.
Job Requirements:
- Have obtained a degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or related field, preferred
- Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience as a project manager in the industry, including leadership responsibility.
- Thorough working knowledge of project management processes, technology, and safety principles.
- Ability to read mechanical, architectural, and structural drawings for coordination purposes.
- Possess a thorough knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
- Strong decision-making, problem solving, resource allocation and planning skills/experience.
- Demonstrated attention to detail throughout prior experience.
- Ability to consistently set goals and meet deadlines.
- Have obtained a valid driver’s license for at least 15 months, and able to meet FCCI auto guidelines to operate a company-owned vehicle.
- Computer literate with expert knowledge in MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint; working knowledge of all office equipment.
- Eligible to legally work in the United States.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Applicable military experience will be considered.
- Ability to speak Spanish, preferred.
- Successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
