Job Overview
The IT Business Analyst II is a member of an IT delivery team responsible for understanding business process objectives and helping their team translate needs into actionable technology requirements and designs. Major activities include requirements gathering, refining of scope, analyzing data sources, assisting with user acceptance testing, and gathering user feedback on IT deliverables.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Leads and participates in collaboration with key stakeholders by gathering information to better understand their business processes and needs to increase efficiency, productivity, and functionality of IT resources, through analysis and determine requirements and gaps
- Assists other IT teammates in testing deliverables and facilitates the user acceptance testing with business partners to ensure quality and functionality
- Design and/or develop SharePoint sites, PowerApps, and PowerAutomate solutions in support of business needs.
- Provides level 2 support for all technology solutions in the assigned application portfolio by performing root cause analysis, collaborating with business partners and IT Teammates to resolve the issues and or incidents
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Must have excellent written skills
- Must have 3 years experience with IT solution implementations
- Able to work with business partners to identify and document desired requirements and translate into SharePoint/PowerApp solutions following industry best practices
- Experience with SharePoint online
- Ability to train business users on developed solutions
- Familiarity with Microsoft tools (Word, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Ability to coordinate QA and User Acceptance Testing for implemented solutions
- Experience with SDLC/Agile processes and procedures
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (4 years) BS in Computer Science or Information Technology related field
- Knowledge acquired through 3 to up to 5 years of work experience with Shared Services organizations (Communications, Legal, and Audit)
- Experience with SharePoint features and capabilities, UI, form development, and workflow tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Business degree is preferred
