Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Software Engineer for a position in Orlando, FL. Responsibilities include:

Develops, modifies and applies quality principles to the development and use of software and software-based systems for make and/or buy software products.

Performs verification and validation of test equipment including hardware in the loop systems.

Develops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives.

Designs and implements software development and maintenance processes.

Defines audit strategy to ensure compliance to systems / software processes.

Designs, specifies and conducts test methods for software inspection, verification and validation.

Evaluates and analyzes software quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.

Ensures measures meet acceptable reliability standards.

Performs software product reviews against contractual, technical and/or process requirements.

Reviews include requirement specifications, design documents, source code, test plans and procedures, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies.

Performs or directs verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability.
Basic Qualifications:
Engineering degree at the Bachelor level or above

Must be able to obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to start and be able to obtain a Full Secret clearance

Programming Language C and C++ experience

Geometric Dimension and Tolerance (GD&T) experience
Desired Skills:
Engineering degree at the Bachelor level or above in Industrial or Electrical Engineering

AS9100 and AS9102 knowledge and/or familiarization

Continuous Improvement Process knowledge

Understanding in the execution and managing Software of validation and control activities
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
