Join our North America System Development Team!
We are looking for software engineers to join our established team to continue with the build of AI apps!
Tools/Technology:
Here are some of the tools that we currently use and the stack we are implementing:
- Microsoft Azure platforms
- Azure Cognitive A.I tools (Language studio, Computer vision, Form recognizer)
- C#.NET
- Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL
- JavaScript frameworks like React
- Angular
- Jira for task management
- Teamcity, Snyk, Azure Kubernetes Service, and SonarQube and more for a DevSecOps and environment chain
- GitHub for source control
How can you contribute?
We are looking for a continuous learner with a detail oriented approach to producing strong and clean codes. Our team covers a wide area of responsibility starting from the Front end and all the way to the DB.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing front-end interfaces for AI applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like React and Angular.
- Developing back-end systems to support AI applications using C#.net.
- Ensuring that AI applications are secure and align with relevant regulations and standards
- Create and test using a mix of internal and open-source libraries
- Willingness to learn on development platforms
- Pair program with other software engineers to learn, coach, and mentor
- Help enhance and maintain our performance and reliability capabilities using tools like New Relic, performance monitoring, end-to-end logging, and other telemetry data
- Excellent work ethic and strong sense of ownership and pride in the work they do.
- Staying up to date with the latest AI technologies and trends and incorporating them into your work as appropriate.

Salary & Benefits
The annual base salary for this role is listed below.
Primary Location
USA, Massachusetts, Boston, 200 Berkeley StreetSalary range is expected to be between
$83,440.00 USD - $154,960.00 USDIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
