Manufacturing Engineer

Emerson is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to work on our facility in Stafford, TX, In this position, you will assume a leadership role in developing, evaluating and improving our company's manufacturing methods.
As a Manufacturing Engineer You Will:
- Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
- Confer with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts and evaluate products according to specifications and quality standard.
- Estimate production items, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
- Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
- Provide support to manufacturing to ensure product is fabricated and assembled based on the intended functionality of the design.
- Develop and write equipment specifications, performance requirements, cost analysis, and proposal for integrating machinery and equipment into manufacturing process.
- Prepare detailed quotations for fixture, tool, and engineering requirements to be used in developing a formal quote for customer.
- Oversee installation to ensure machines and equipment are installed and functioning.
- Develop and conduct training programs on the safe operations of the equipment, and demonstrate skills to trainees, including both team members and customers.
- Design complex tools and fixtures.

Required Education, Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or any related engineering field
- 1+ year of work-related experience
- Knowledge of cutting tools and their applications
- Able to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Education, Experience & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing is preferred.
