Description
You’ll become part of an exceptional team focusing on privacy across Apple’s products and services. Partnering with Privacy Engineers, you’ll be working with a wide variety of teams. Your influence will be felt throughout Apple's products and services, such as the iPhone, Mac, Watch, Health, Siri, iCloud, and Apple Music. You will be directly involved in building great features with strong privacy protections for multiple products and services. You will analyze analytics requests, schemas, and user studies against established privacy guidance and policies. You will identify and effectively communicate (both written and verbal) privacy risk as well as suggest mitigations and privacy techniques to minimize data collected. Additionally, you will drive updates and clarity to polices and efficiency in our processes. This position requires someone with strong technical strengths and a passionate desire to protect people's privacy by providing insightful analysis of the impact of data, and how can be used to bring risk to people's privacy. A few responsibilities: * Analyze requests to collect, store, and use people’s data against established guidance and policies * Review schemas, sandboxes, and user studies against established guidance and polices * Identify privacy risk and effectively (verbal and written) communicate the risk to engineers, privacy engineers, legal, peers, and leadership * Apply and advocate for privacy preserving techniques to ensure Apple’s Privacy Pillars * Write and follow clear documentation so that our work can be accountable, repeated, predictable, measured, and improved * Drive improvements to product privacy guidance and policy
Education & Experience
BS in computer science, engineering or related technical experience

Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $84,300 and $162,800 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
