Title:

KBR is seeking a highly motivated Space/Ground Systems Engineer to join our team in the Northern Virginia or King of Prussia, PA areas. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership on small to large scale space programs and must possess a thorough understanding of satellite systems, subsystems, and program acquisition.

System Engineering with focus on Test Plans and Procedures, Verification Plans Development, and Integration and Test activities. Support technical planning, generation of testing and verification of requirements for demonstration program phase and demonstration transition to operations. Support the customer in determining future test needs and verification procedures Assist the customer in developing Integration and Test processes and controls Lead technical engagements to ensure I&T processes and controls are followed Support development of technical evaluation criteria and checklists for contractor demonstrations and milestone reviews leading to Acquisition Milestone approval Lead/coordinate technical engagements with multiple developers and user community. Support RFC/SOW and requirement development for Major System Acquisition contract and readiness milestone activities.

• GEOINT/SIGINT/PROTECTION/TRANSPORT Engineering knowledge
• Engineering degree of Math, Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• Systems Engineering
• Satellite Operations Experience
• Experience working with government customer in the IC
• General analytical skills
• Requirements verification methodology
• MBSE or AGILE principles relating to Systems Engineering
• Understanding of schedule management / Project management

Required skills for position:

• Requires a BS plus 11+ years of professional experience
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph required
• Ability to use MS Tools
• Ability to direct test events/test director leadership (or understanding of Enterprise Testing)
• Flexibility in support of multiple projects

Potential travel in support of Enterprise Testing

Basic Compensation:

130,200.00 - 195,400.00 USD Annual

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
