We are looking for a Equipment Engineer to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Equipment Engineering Sr. Manager and based in Newark DE.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Develop equipment specifications for the manufacturing assembly, testing and material handling processes
  • Performs engineering work in mechanical, electrical, and structural systems utilized in test, material handling, welding, machining equipment
  • Lead equipment design, installation, and start up/implementation projects
  • Design and fabricate tooling assemblies for manufacturing
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and status reports to leadership
  • Coordinate project implementation with vendors, facility engineering, manufacturing engineering and production teams
  • Identify opportunities to increase safety, reduce costs, increase efficiency, and improve quality
  • Preparing capital equipment justifications and request
  • Produce, or review and approve system as-built/as-installed drawings
Skills and Experience:
  • BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Manufacturing or Equipment Engineer with 3-5 years experience
  • Tool design and GD&T
  • Functional knowledge of PLC’s, low voltage controls, three phase power distribution, industrial control panels, electronic sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics
  • Equipment requirement development and specification writing
  • Knowledge of ergonomic and machine safety standards
  • Autocad/Solidworks/MS Office suite
  • Strong Communication skills (written and public speaking)

Salary Ranges:
$73,800.00 - $106,200.00
