The Platform Services & Operations team in Core OS is looking for a Workflow Systems Analyst to design and develop crucial workflow tooling at scale. We enable teams to deliver high quality software through best in class engineering experiences, efficient workflow, data driven insights, and a culture of continuous improvement. Your focus is delivering useful data insights, and engaging with partners across the organization to provide coaching in support of workflow initiatives.
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development as data analyst, software engineer or technical PM
- Experience planning and driving execution across disparate partner groups towards a unified goal
- Strong proven understanding of SDLC and Quality Management
- Ability to synthesize key success measures, present policy and process recommendations to all levels of leadership
- Effective at researching and documenting workflows/processes into workflow charts
- Working with data; querying and visualization, the display of quantitative information, using Tableau
- Leading customer relationships; comfortable presenting to groups, collecting and implementing feedback
Description
Engage with leadership to drive workflow improvement initiatives in both quality and efficiency Dashboard development; visualize key information, iterate presentation and design with customers Translate data into insights; identify behavioral patterns and trends within large data sets Research and characterize the current state of software development workflow; understand systemic challenges and pinpoint processes that need improvement Work with a team of data scientists and full stack engineers, to derive and develop targeted insights through centrally run interactive dashboards using Tableau Work directly with teams to incorporate insights into their active monitoring and decision making processes Monitor results of your engagements and regularly report on wins and challenges to executive leadership
Education & Experience
B.S. in Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Additional Requirements
- Highly proficient in data analytics, summary statistics, and principles of descriptive analysis, including advanced Tableau development
- Proven track record to affect positive outcomes across a distributed organization with formal organizational change techniques
- Familiarity with DevOps metrics, and LEAN software delivery concepts
- Software Development; understanding build pipelines, merging, test systems and methods, and the delivery of code
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,000 and $230,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
